Public Transit Courtesy
Hi there. Cold out today isn't it. I have to wear my mittens even when I'm inside the bus becuase it's so cold. And you know what? They have absolutely zero grip on those slippery metal rails, so sorry if I fall over onto when the bus turns the corner ... actually ... I'm not sorry. Not sorry in the slightest. You want to know why? Well I'm going to tell you anyway. YOU ARE TAKING UP 2 SEATS ON A CROWDED BUS, WHILE MYSELF AND OTHERS ARE FORCED TO STAND THE ENTIRE WAY, GETTING JOSTLED ABOUT AND SLIDING AROUND. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Who the hell do you think you are? I'm sorry, do you own this bus? No. Did you pay more to ride on this bus today? No, I didn't think so. Are you elderly? No. Do you have a physical disability? No - well, you may soon. How dare you look out the window while I look to see if there's room beside you. Don't flatter yourself - I don't want to sit beside you. But I also don't want to go sliding down the row or onto another passenger because I couldn't grip the pole properly. How dare you sit on the outside seat of a double seat! You should be ashamed of yourself - shove OVER! Why must you sit on the outside so people can't use that other seat? Oh, I see, I see. You are getting off shortly, the next stop maybe, my mistake. Hey, here's a suggestion: MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET UP ENTIRELY so those of us travelling past the next few stops can do it safely. Am I speaking another language here? did I stutter? HAVE SOME RESPECT - It's almost CHRISTMAS!!!
Respectfully yours,
C.

Bustin' Makes Me Feel Good!
oh em gee. I am super excited for Hallowe'en! Today I had no class, and as a result I was twiddling my thumbs and finding any excuse to avoid school work. And so I ended up hitting up James Brett for a bangs trim (impulsiveness + bangs = questionable results) and the Dollarama to find some Hallow e'en decor. I was a little disappointed with their selection though - they didn't even have streamers or fake cobwebs...- the eff?!?? Anyway, I ended buying a giant skelly bones (which I obviously put in the "Burt Reynolds Naked Man" pose), a fake bloody handprint and some orange an black balloons - will have to do.
My mum's good at sending me Hallow e'en care packages so I've accumulated some decorations which will fill the gaps. And then there's this:
Of course if you are in the mood for a good Hallowe'en story there is always the Tale of the Wellington St. Ghost

Ominous Puddle Part 2

The Ominous Puddle is Back... yet I don't remember there being much rain in the past weeks ... another reason to call it ominous I suppose. If you're late to the party or have selective memory: THIS will help.

The Grind pt. 2: Simlish etc.
Growl. I don't know why, but I just felt like typing that. I got so much unpacking done last night just before bed. It's easiest to work then because it's not so hot in my room and I usually can't get to sleep easily so I can toddle around doing useful things until I crash. Also, earlier in the day I strategically unloaded all my clothes onto my bed so that I wouldn't be able to sleep (comfortably, at least) until I put them away. Today I cleaned, reposted posters, organized books and binders and tried countless time to play SIMS2 - that's probably why I wanted to type growl - everytime I play my computer is not cool with it and crashes. Why, God, WHY?!?! The clip above is just Lily in Simlish - yay don't act like you're too cool for this craziness - gawd I love the Sims!

Kings Town, Back Again

Currently in Kingston, chillin' at my apartment ... well the "in Kingston ... at my apartment" part is true at least. You see, I got up here yesterday afternoon and the wireless wasn't working. I tried plugging in my N64 (ghetttoooooo) and it was only black and white. Things were just not going my way. I had to walk to campus to use one of the solar powered computers at Stauff (ghettooooooox2) and then nothing was open because it's Sunday. argh. I did however finally book a hair appointment - haven't cut my hair since I posted about it months ago, and picked up shampoo - how'd I forget that?! Luckily Dorcas dropped by to unload a bunch of her things before heading back Toronto and set everything straight - internet is clearly working now, and N64 is technicolour!! Now I just need to get 'round to unpacking all my ridiculousness and cleaning - oh TOMORROW!
