Hallowe'en 2009

So this past weekend was the most beloved of holidays, save for Christmas, Hallowe'en. Both my camera and my phone have been acting up: one won't take pictures, the other won't let me transfer pictures I have taken onto my computer (though I suspect this is more Jules' fault than anything else). Anyway, all I have to show for it pictures from other people's cameras (sketch). Hopefully I will be able to transfer the photos from my phone soon. Until then:

I LOVE this picture of Ainsley et Moi - we look so happy and carefree

Also, Calvin looked amazing as Tuxedo Mask!

Pearl & Frankie
Haughty Hallowe'en Special
Episode 4: It's Hallowe'en. Pearl and Frankie discuss their plans for the evening, without each other ...

Pearl: So Frankie, what are your Halloween plans this year?
Frankie: I'm having people over tonight for drinks and board games ...
Pearl: Ha. Bored games - you're right - That's a good adjective to describe your parties. *smug face*
Frankie: You are so condescending .... Oh. Em. Gee. I can't believe I almost left "She Wolf" off my playlist! Where is my head at?!
Pearl: ... So anyway, who is on the guest list?
Frankie: Just some friends and some plus ones.
Pearl: My invite must have been lost in the mail ... or if you sent out an evite it most have been lost in virtual space.... I'm too busy to come anyway.
Frankie: Really? What are you upto?
Pearl: ... Well, my Halloween party will be in a cubicle at the UTM library ... I might dress up.
Frankie: What as?
Pearl: I can't decide ... Leonardo CoHen or High on Dye (Hyundai) .... thoughts?
Frankie: Maybe you should just go as a tool box. Just slap a "Hi My Name Is Pearl" sticker on your shirt and you're good to go ...
Pearl: .....
Frankie: .... ZING!

Bustin' Makes Me Feel Good!

oh em gee. I am super excited for Hallowe'en! Today I had no class, and as a result I was twiddling my thumbs and finding any excuse to avoid school work. And so I ended up hitting up James Brett for a bangs trim (impulsiveness + bangs = questionable results) and the Dollarama to find some Hallow e'en decor. I was a little disappointed with their selection though - they didn't even have streamers or fake cobwebs...- the eff?!?? Anyway, I ended buying a giant skelly bones (which I obviously put in the "Burt Reynolds Naked Man" pose), a fake bloody handprint and some orange an black balloons - will have to do. My mum's good at sending me Hallow e'en care packages so I've accumulated some decorations which will fill the gaps. And then there's this:

Of course if you are in the mood for a good Hallowe'en story there is always the Tale of the Wellington St. Ghost
